This awesome introduction to wine is designed to help wine novices broaden their understanding of wine, with fresh information for wine enthusiasts, too!
Our facilitator, Dr. Steve Meharg of MVinology, is Certified Specialist of Wine, Italian wine expert, tour guide, wine competition judge, and veteran wine educator focused on making wine enjoyable and nonintimidating. This multimedia course covers many interesting aspects of wine history, production, styles and roles of acid, tannin and alcohol. Steve will also touch on wine etiquette - how to sip and savor like a pro while sampling five different styles of wine. This is a great course to improve your understanding of wine, store, select, and serve it like a pro, and learn its place in your social, cultural, and culinary toolbox.
With a maximum of 14 participants, this class is designed to be small and intimate. It encourages questions and paricipation in a casual and comfortable environment. Event will be hosted in our Wine Club Lounge, Wishram Winery Location.
