About the Event
In 2023, Brian Maselli, lonesome from solo work and pining for the community of a band, devised a plan. Maselli began to build a de facto group by cajoling his talented friends into occasional or frequent appearances alongside him on stage, hoping to surreptitiously trick them into becoming an actual band. To his delight, the gambit paid off. The result? Neighbor States, featuring Maselli, Laura White, Paul Wolff, David Goodman, and Joey Mohler, plus Ryan Hales splitting drum duties with Paul for half of the year.
