About Us  

           Jacob Williams Winery is a family owned and operated winery in the Columbia River Gorge with a Tasting Room and Winery Complex on the Avery Park Rd turn-off, between Cacasde Cliffs and Maryhill wineries on Hwy 14. Our winery produces under 2000 cases of ultra premium wine annually from some of the best vineyards in the Columbia Valley AVA and around the Columbia River Gorge. Brad Gearhart owns and operates Jacob Williams with the help of award-winning wine consultant John Haw, formerly of Maryhill and Sokol Blosser. Brad and John have being creating fine wines together for nine years, blending their talents and passion for fine wine to produce award winning Columbia Valley vintages.  Wine you will want to enjoy now and collect for special occassions. 

            Jacob Williams Winery is now located just above the shore of the beautiful Columbia River at Avery Park, on Hwy 14. The views are stunning! A perfect place to celebrate fall and try our ’09 Merlot, one of this year’s 2011 Wine Summit Gold Medal winners.

           The barrel and tasting room with outdoor patio mark the first completed phase of our JW Winery complex, situated off Hwy 14 against a bountiful backdrop of vineyards, cherry and peach orchards the river and Mt. Hood. Come enjoy our spectacular wines and celebrate the unsurpassed beauty of the Columbia Gorge. Jacob Williams Winery is now open 10am-6pm daily for wine tasting at 3 Avery Rd (Avery Park, off Hwy 14) Wishram, WA.

           The Winery’s wine club boasts many special events throughout the year, with everything from barbeques & barrel tastings to fantastic Italian dinners. Members receive a year-round discount on all wine purchases and are treated like part of the family.

            Jacob Williams is currently producing Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Reserve Syrah, Zinfandel and Sadie Red, a special vintner’s blend named after the family dog. The wines are fabulous; if you haven’t had the opportunity to taste them you are missing something. You can find the wine at several local restaurants and wine shops, or you can sample all the current releases at the tasting room.
